2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the website stores on your device when you visit it. They make the site work, remember your preferences, measure how it is used and, if you agree, show you more relevant advertising. Here “cookies” also covers similar technologies such as pixels and browser identifiers.

3. Categories of cookies we use

Some tools are managed directly by the Controller (first-party), others enable services provided by third parties (third-party), which have access to their own cookies. Duration and expiry may vary depending on what the Controller or each provider has set, and some cookies expire at the end of the browsing session. More detailed and up-to-date information is available in the providers’ notices listed in section 4.

4. Third-party tools

Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited)

The Pixel collects information about the pages you visit and the actions you take on the site (for example submitting a request) and links it to your browser through the _fbp and _fbc cookies. The Pixel is activated only after you give consent. For data collected through the Pixel, the Controller and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited act as joint controllers, each for its own purposes. Information: Meta privacy policy. To manage your ad preferences: Meta ad settings.

Google Tag Manager and Google Consent Mode v2 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC)

Google Tag Manager manages the tools installed on the website. By itself it sets no profiling cookies, and it receives consent signals via Google Consent Mode v2: without your consent no statistical or marketing cookies are stored on your device (only cookieless aggregate pings may be sent for statistical modelling), while Google Analytics 4 cookies and the Meta Pixel are activated only after you give consent.

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC)

Collects usage data (number of users, session statistics, pages visited) to measure and improve the site. Statistical cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are activated only after you give consent; in the absence of consent, via Google Consent Mode v2, only cookieless aggregate pings may be sent for statistical modelling. Data is processed in the United States. Information: Google privacy policy. To disable it: opt-out browser add-on.

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited / Microsoft Corporation)

Statistical and behavioural analysis tool (heatmaps, scrolling and page interaction analysis, with automatic masking of sensitive fields) used to understand how visitors navigate the site and improve its usability. It is loaded and sets the _clck, _clsk and CLID cookies only after you give consent to the Statistics category. Data is also processed in the United States. Information: Microsoft privacy statement.

Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC)

Protects the website’s forms from spam and bots. To tell a person from an automated program it analyses interaction data: clicks, keystrokes, mouse movements, scroll position, touch events and motion sensor events, as well as answers to checks. We use it for form security on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse, so it does not require consent. Information: Google privacy policy.

Third-party content

Some pages show elements loaded from third-party servers, such as the Tripadvisor logo in the footer. Loading them involves sending your IP address to the provider of the content.

5. How to manage or withdraw consent

On your first visit a banner lets you accept, reject or customise the use of non-technical cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link in the website footer. Your choice is remembered for up to 6 months.

Browser settings

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. The steps differ by browser; they are usually found in the Settings menu under Privacy and security (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) or Privacy (Safari). Blocking technical cookies may affect how the website works.

6. Consequences of refusing

You are free to decide whether to allow non-technical tools. If you refuse them, you can still browse the site and send requests as usual, but we will not be able to fully measure how the site is used or assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Browser settings do not allow control by individual category, and blocking technical cookies as well may affect how the website works.

7. Your rights and updates

For personal data collected through cookies you have the same rights described in the Privacy Policy (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to the Italian Data Protection Authority). To exercise them write to agriturismotassinaia@gmail.com.

This Cookie Policy may be changed, for example if the tools used by the website change. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
